About Me

Although not Native American, I was born in the heart of the Navajo Nation.   Since then, I've lived all over the western United States.  I took U.S. History and American Civics in High School, I was in the U.S. Air Force and have been active in the American Legion.   I also have a law degree.  

Throughout my life, wherever I have lived, I've been active in community affairs.  

Ancestors on both sides of my family came to America in the 1630's.  I have two great-grandfathers who were both in the Civil War; one was a Captain in the Union Army and the other was General Meade's aide before he became a deserter.  

I have a profound love for my country, its history and its Constitution.  I keep informed of current events on a daily basis, as every American has a duty to do.  I love writing and  photography.  I have two fine sons and a brother who all wish they could be just like me... handsome, humorous and humble.
